DBX 2231 GRAPHIC EQUALIZER
DBX 2231 is a professional-grade graphic equalizer/crossover designed for audio processing and sound shaping in various applications. It is widely used in recording studios, live performances, sound reinforcement systems, and broadcast setups. The unit provides precise control over the frequency response of audio signals, allowing for fine-tuning and correction of audio content.
Features a dual-channel design, providing independent equalization for two separate audio sources or stereo signals. Each channel offers 31 bands of graphic equalization, allowing you to adjust the level of specific frequencies within the audio spectrum. The frequency range spans from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, covering the full spectrum of human hearing.
The equalizer bands are spaced at 1/3-octave intervals, which provides a balanced and detailed control over the audio frequencies. Each band is equipped with a fader or slider that allows you to boost or cut the level of that particular frequency. The faders typically have a range of +/- 6 dB or +/- 12 dB, providing ample flexibility to shape the sound to your desired preference.
In addition to the individual frequency bands, it offers several overall control options. It includes global controls for input and output gain, which help to adjust the overall level of the signal passing through the unit. The input gain control allows you to match the incoming signal to the appropriate operating level, while the output gain control enables you to set the desired output level.
Features various connectivity options. It typically includes balanced XLR and 1/4″ TRS input and output connectors, allowing for easy integration into professional audio setups. The balanced connections help minimize noise and interference, ensuring clean and accurate signal processing.
Overall, the graphic equalizer is a versatile and powerful tool for audio professionals, offering precise control over the frequency response of audio signals. With its comprehensive equalization capabilities and robust build quality, it is widely regarded as a reliable and effective equalization solution in the audio industry.

Apex dBQ-zero EQ
Order This Via WhatsAppThe Apex dBQ-zero EQ on each channel, the 30-band constant-Q graphic section is completed with a filter section consisting of a high-pass filter, high and low shelving equalizers and two notch filters. Shelving filters add warmth and colour to the mix. A typical application for our frequency adjustable high-pass filter is to remove hum or vibration transmitted by turntables. Notch filters allow fast and easy removal of noise or potential feedback frequencies.
Constant-Q design preserves filter bandwidth independently from the amplitude control settings and therefore minimizes the adjacent band interaction. Constant-Q reinforces the graphical representation by the front panel faders of the actual frequency response.
